Väderstad’s latest cultivator ‘redefining precision farming’

Väderstad has captured the industry’s attention with its latest offering, the Cultus HD tine cultivator, which is available in mounted models of 4.25m and 5.25m and which has ‘exceptional depth precision’ according to the company.

It can operate to a depth of 30cm regardless of the conditions it faces, with such level of accuracy made possible by its three tine axles, resulting in a tine spacing of 27cm. This configuration optimises soil movement and, in turn, creates efficient cultivation. A defining feature of the Cultus HD is its heavy-duty tines, each having a release force of up to 680kg. This enables the tines to tackle even the most stubborn obstacles while retaining their ability to maintain a consistent depth. Its ability to seamlessly release from the soil when encountering obstacles and swiftly return to its working position that differentiates the Cultus HD from the pack, according to the company. Väderstad has equipped the Cultus HD with features that elevate its usability such as the ability to adjust depth directly from the cab, and a hydraulic wing lock. The dynamic control leveler adjustment system optimises leveler positioning, effectively eliminating the need for manual adjustments, which simplifies the operator’s task but also ensures a consistently high level of leveling performance, the company says. The Cultus HD is compatible with a range of high-quality Väderstad points and MixIn shins. These components are crafted, tested, and manufactured at the Väderstad components factory, ensuring seamless integration and reliable operation, the company says.
