Agri-specialist access at BoI stand

A team of Bank of Ireland specialists will be on hand at this year’s National Ploughing Championships (The Ploughing) to discuss farming, agri-business and rural customers’ financial, investment and banking needs. 

“Agriculture continues to evolve, with farmers balancing sustainability ambitions, succession planning, and business growth in an increasingly complex environment. Visitors to our stand will have the opportunity to speak directly with experienced agri-specialists about the funding and support options available to help them invest with confidence in their future,” said Eoin Lowry, the bank’s head of agri.

Bank of Ireland will also showcase its sustainability loan, Enviroflex which is designed to support environmental and on-farm efficiency investments, including renewable energy projects, slurry storage, farm modernisation and other initiatives that enhance sustainability and long-term resilience.

Eoin continued: “We recognise that farming businesses can face periods of financial pressure due to market volatility, weather-related challenges, and rising input costs. Our team will be on hand to discuss practical solutions to help customers manage cashflow, navigate uncertainty and continue investing in their businesses.
