National Fertiliser Database – DAFM officials on hand to help

From September 1, anyone who wants to sell or purchase fertiliser (including lime) must be registered on the new National Fertiliser Database.

This is a requirement for ‘professional fertiliser end users’, primarily farmers and others who use fertilisers as part of their work; and ‘fertiliser economic operators’, such as importers, and merchants that sell fertilisers. Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) officials will be available at the DAFM’s stand at the National Ploughing Championships to answer your questions and offer assistance with registration.
